On request we can design an upgraded Innovation Framework for companies, enterprise wide or for a specific BU. Such a Framework contains an architecture of detailed Process models, a Governance Charter and an overarching Data model. Goal is to ensure “organic growth” from innovation investments. This sounds obvious but many reports from analysts demonstrate that only 10% of global enterprises manage to make real organic growth from innovation. The classic Frameworks don’t work anymore in this new era.

We believe that current architectures must be fundamentally revisited, moving from a departmental approach to a more holistic, AI-compatible concept.

Designing an alternative innovation framework with the customer requires a clearly defined collaborative project.

Design components

• The Top-Down Innovation Management vision specified for the customer.
• Top-down definition of the business (revenue) needs from innovation; very concrete: per revenue stream numbers per quarter, via a template.
• An organisational model capable of fulfilling those needs.
• Portfolio and Program management at strategic, decision-making, and ecosystem levels. Portfolio contracts across the ecosystem: committed Roadmaps.
• The role and use of agentic AI.
• An Innovation Governance Charter defining roles, accountabilities, decision-making processes, data ownership, and access rules.
• Data governance and innovation master-data models.
